Designed and installed an art exhibit at Burning Man in 2016 called, The Sisya, a piece about loss and transformation. The piece was 15' tall and 35' diameter., and was burned as one of the official burns at the conclusion of the festival.
Designing an art piece at Burning Man had been a personal dream since my first visit to the playa in 2013. Getting the project off the ground required fund-raising, assembling and coordinating a team of ~40 contributors, and getting approval from the Burning Man Art Foundation to exhibit our piece as well as to burn it for a crowded audience at the end of the festival.
